Hannah Miller, horn
Hannah Miller leads a multi-faceted career as a horn player, festival director, teacher and goatherd. She works as Principal Horn with the Irish National Opera, and is a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra and the experimental Kirkos Ensemble. She also performs regularly with the RTE Concert Orchestra, Wexford Festival Opera and Crash Ensemble. Hannah studied the horn at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and during an Erasmus year at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, won an orchestral job with the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra in Finland. She later moved to New York to complete a Master’s degree at the Juilliard School, where she was awarded with the William Schuman Prize for outstanding achievement in music and leadership in 2020. Hannah is now a member of the horn faculty at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Hannah is also the Festival Director and founder of ‘FuddleFest’, a multi-genre music festival based at her family's farm in Fuddletown, Wexford which takes place every August, and looks forward to its sixth edition this year. Hannah began working as a herder with the Old Irish Goat Society in 2025 as part of their conservation grazing project for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
