Born in Malaysia in 2004, Shannon is currently a full time undergraduate student in SETU Waterford. She studies Molecular Biology with Biopharmaceutical Science and she will be entering her final year in September 2026. She plays the piano as a hobby and is a part time piano student in TU Dublin Conservatoire, currently studying under Dr Marianna Prjevalskaya. Her past mentors include Dr Billy O’Brien, whom she has studied with upon her arrival in Ireland to audition for TU Dublin conservatoire in 2024, and Madam Sheau Fong Jong, her piano teacher in Malaysia for 10 years. She volunteers for the Waterford Chamber Music Festival since 2025. She is also the organ scholar of Christ Church Cathedral Waterford studying under Simon Harden and a chorister in the cathedral choir.
