WCMF 2025

Building on the success of our first festival, WCMF 2025 saw us develop our vision to deliver world-class chamber music performances. Our programme celebrated the 150th birth-anniversary of French composer Maurice Ravel (a highlight was the inclusion of his evocative Introduction and Allegro), and also featured world premiere performances of works by Marian Ingoldsby and Greg Scanlon. We featured talented sisters Kseniia and Yeslaliia Yershova in a dazzling Young Artists’ concert, who included the premiere of a work by young Cork composer, Milo McCarthy. In partnership with the Bealtaine Festival celebrating the arts as we age, we delivered a ‘Singing for Wellbeing and Music Appreciation Workshop’ which was received with much enthusiasm by the singers of Waterford and beyond.
