The inaugural Waterford Chamber Music Festival took place in July 2024 to great acclaim, winning awards for ‘Best Concert’ and ‘Outstanding Arts and Cultural Event of the Year’ at the Waterford News and Star Green Room Awards.In a wide-ranging programme celebrating in particular the centenary of Gabriel Fauré, WCMF brought the beauty of chamber music to the South East, and found its home in the exquisite venue of Mount Congreve. We featured young artists to showcase their talents, and held a children’s composition workshop.
